Gabriel Penna Gomes is an associate at LDCM Advogados.

He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and has experience in strategic judicial disputes involving debt restructuring, insolvency proceedings (judicial reorganizations, out-of-court reorganizations, and bankruptcies), and corporate litigation.

Before joining LDCM Advogados, Gabriel was an associate in the Civil Litigation and Restructuring and Insolvency practice at Lefosse Advogados.

Selected relevant cases:

▪ Represented creditors, especially financial institutions, in credit recovery and insolvency proceedings. Among those, Gabriel had an outstanding performance in the execution of extrajudicially enforceable instruments and drafting the court-supervised reorganization plan in favorable conditions to the client, leading to a credit recovery of more than 90%.

▪ Represented creditors and potential investors in court-approved reorganization and bankruptcy proceedings, among those Grupo Imcopa, Grupo Libra, and Avianca.

▪ Represented the creditor in the execution of an extrajudicially enforceable instrument against Grupo Buritirama, with wide media repercussion.

▪ Represented clients in and out of court in negotiations and corporate suits.

▪ Participated in legal due diligences focused on the analysis of civil and real estate litigation, for the preparation of Due Diligence reports, in several corporate transactions. Among them stands out the capitalization process of Eletrobras.
