Experienced in civil and business litigation and credit recovery, Pedro was an associate of traditional Brazilian firms, such as Pinheiro Guimarães, and a partner of Motta, Fernandes Rocha. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law from UERJ and a Post-Graduate degree in Civil Procedural Law and Private Law from PUC-Rio. The WWL ranking recognizes Pedro as a “National Leader – Brazil.”


Pedro is a partner and co-founder of LDCM Advogados, having extensive experience in solving corporate disputes of great complexity, mainly in conflict between partners, in the pre-litigation and court and arbitration disputes. With outstanding performance in court-approved reorganizations, bankruptcies, and credit recovery processes, Pedro applies his negotiation knowledge to offer effective and constructive solutions to clients he advises.

He was a partner of Motta Fernandes Advogados and associated with Pinheiro Guimarães Advogados and Terra Tavares Ferrari Elias Rosa Advogados.

Pedro holds a Master’s Degree (2019) in Business Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), a post-graduate degree in Private Property Law (2015), and Civil Procedural Law (2014) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he also graduated in Law (2012).

He is a member of Comissão de Contencioso Societário e Disputas de M&A of Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Empresarial – Ibrademp (2022). The Who’s Who Legal National Report 2023 recognized him for his work in Administrative Litigation.

Selected relevant cases:

Represented a partner of a relevant Brazilian cement group in court and out-of-court negotiation and in court demands concerning the management of controlled companies, their economic and financial restructuring process, as well as the relationship with other stakeholders.

Acted in several cases for extrajudicial and judicial exclusion of partners, advising investment managers, importers, technology companies, and others in calling and representing their shareholders in negotiations, shareholders’ meetings, and lawsuits.

Represented creditors in court-approved reorganizations, bankruptcy, and credit recovery, with especially execution of extrajudicially enforceable instruments before civil courts in Rio de Janeiro, through which the creditor, a company of mercantile development intending to receive more than 90 million reais.

Conducted the successful negotiation by a technology company and its leading partner to receive a millionaire earn-out and terminate the services contract for the development of financial software for an important Brazilian payment processing company due to fault by the contractor.

Represented a relevant corporate player in the energy transmission sector in the negotiations and court suit discussing the interpretation of the right of first refusal contained in a shareholder’s agreement.
